Grants / Donations

Dear Friend,

The NCESA is financially healthy with a strong member base. There is no better time to do something extraordinary for E Scow sailing. The NCESA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-deductible association. Therefore, we are in a unique position to support innovative projects to benefit E sailing across the country. To do this, the association has structured a Foundation responsible for the management of donations and distribution of funds through grant requests. Your support, whether small or large, will be greatly appreciated and most beneficial to E Scow sailing.

Proceed to the Donations/Pledges page to contribute today. Select the check option to avoid credit card processing fees.

Sincerely,

NCESA

Development Grant

The NCESA has committed to support, enrich, and promote E Scow sailing to strengthen and expand fleets across all regions.

Our members have already embarked on some wonderful projects that are, and have been, great for E sailing. The Island Heights Sailing Foundation (IHSF) created a bold initiative to put two E Scows in the hands of young skippers for an entire season. These young people will be E sailors for life and possibly our future class leaders. Doug Love’s generous donation set the tone for the asymmetrical spinnaker conversions which were completed in a single year and more importantly, kept our E class unified. We are inspired to build on these successes. We hope you are too.

Grant proposals are submitted to the NCESA Grant Committee for recommendation to the NCESA Board of Directors for funding. Click here for more information...
