Dear NCESA Members,
We might be in the dead of winter, but there is plenty going on! There are a host of upcoming winter events for all you road warriors, so make sure to check out the upcoming regattas list. For all of you in the off-season, we are also working to wrap up the 2024 Reporter. We want to ensure that each regional event receives coverage, so please make sure your regatta reports and photos are submitted by February 14th. This is also an excellent time to encourage your crew to sign up as an Associate Member so they too can enjoy a copy and hope for a shout out in a report.
Kicking off the new year, the Engagement Committee is excited to announce an upcoming Rules Seminar with Dave Perry this April. Information and registration will be coming out soon and will be free for all Members. Meanwhile, the Media Committee has undergone an alien invasion from HO / T-59 as Ashley Byrne stepped in as the new Media Chair and Autumn Hoover’s role has expanded to include both social and web administration.
Melges Watersports Center has been doing great things. The 15 series has been super successful as was the first E Scow event. We can’t wait to follow along for the second event this weekend.
