Jib attachment method – Scantling rule change – Ballots due Nov 1st

A scantling rule change ballot is in the hands of Regular members. The vote is on a proposal to change the jib attachment method to the forestay. Jib Attachment Proposal

The NCESA By-Laws require that two thirds of those voting must approve the change. Ballots are due on November 1, 2011.

Championship of Champions Regatta (Oct 19-22)

Peter Hurley and Glen Dickson, the National E Scow Champions in 2010, will be competing in the US Sailing Championship of Champions regatta hosted by the Corinthian Sailing Club on White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas, October 19-22, 2011. This years regatta is being sailed in Flying Scots and they have plenty of stiff competition. Read about it.

NEW for 2012! A Western Championship at Grand Lake, CO

Yes, you read that correctly. The Grand Lake Colorado fleet is have a One Time Western Championship on June 30th -July 1st, 2012.

A NOR will be forth coming but they want to get the date out there well in advance.
Because of lake area they’re going to limit sign up to 20 off lake boats.
