The 50^th NCESA National Championships held at Chautauqua Lake Yacht Club on June 27-29^th is now in the record books! 

We started the regatta with 71 E Scows on the line and 278 sailors.  In spite of the numerous weather systems that moved through the area over the four days, all six races were sailed, meals served, bands playing into the early morning hours…..and we even launched the firework display on Saturday evening following the annual banquet.

Congratulations to Andy Burdick, Peter Heck, Lindsay Bartel and Coye Harrett our Nationals champions!  Peter Koar was the top Rookie skipper, Dick Wight our top Masters skipper, Barbie Sprinkman our top Women Skipper and John Sellstrom top Red Fleet skipper.

A tip of the hat to our sponsors, club staff and the members of our club that stepped up to volunteer their time to make this a memorable 50^th!

We would like to thank all of the sailors for making the effort to attend 2008 NCESA National Championship and wish you a warm, safe and enjoyable summer.
